Mitch and the Marner family founded the Marner Assist Fund (MAF) with one goal in mind, to generate sustainable change for children and youth by providing resources that will make a significant impact on their future. The focus is to provide support in the areas of childrens social care, health and education with a focus on the marginally challenged.

From the success of last years Marner All-Star Invitational the Marner Assist Fund made considerable contributions to organizations such as SickKids Foundation; providing toys, games and supplies for the family spaces as well as support various programming needs that had a short fall in funding. MAF provided an unforgettable summer camp experience for young people with financial or special needs through a donation to Muskoka Woods. The Eabametoong First Nation community received the funds to add cement and ice to their community hockey rink so that the families have a safe surface to skate on as well contributing to their local Rez Girls hockey team.

A few other funding recipients are Movember, Canadian Tires Jumpstart Foundation to name a few.

We thank you all for participating in the Marner All-Star Invitational this year, together we will make another Assist for the Kids!
